Flock Safety
Alpha
We were tasked with creating a launch film and campaign visuals for Flock Safety’s latest innovation: Flock Alpha, an industry-leading first response drone. The film was released as the centrepiece of the IACP 2025 conference in Orlando, Florida, and featured widely across websites and social platforms.
From high-speed drone shots in urban environments to technical x-ray and exploded diagram sequences, we set out to reveal the technology’s inner workings, seamlessly integrated with high-octane action.
The camera payload component formed the climactic arc of our drone-to-dock narrative. We transitioned through the outer casing to showcase the multi-lens construction at a macro level. Close attention was given to materiality, with a particular focus on the carbon fibre and athermal lens colouration.
We crafted an urban rooftop scene at dusk to ground the drone docking sequence in a realistic context. Illuminating the dock with in situ spotlights created a dramatic focal point for the narrative’s resolution.
During initial research, we experimented with a textured X-ray aesthetic. We refined the finishes of the infrared and athermal lenses and explored ways to authentically recreate thermal imaging modes such as White Hot and Iron Bow.
