Kicking off INVISIBLE we invited friends and family of Found to join us for the opening night. It was great to get the whole team together and reflect on what was a first for us, an exhibition exploring how our research-based approach can amplify our perception of the world. Alongside the opening of INVISIBLE, on Wednesday 20th September we will be hosting an evening for the next generation of 3D designers, a chance to meet the team and learn about our studio processes. Meet Esra Efe Laborde, our new Office Manager. She’ll be taking care of day-to-day life in the studio and is already getting stuck in with all sides of the business. An organisational and creative talent, we’re thrilled to have her on the team.
X marks the spot. The beginning of our ongoing collaboration with product designer Jon Marshall and Pentagram. Taking cues from every stage of the design process, we composed an intelligent surface system to showcase Jon’s products. Designed to be flexible, our 3D grid surface is the blank canvas that scales and shifts to reflect each individual product.
We’re delighted to welcome Laurence Mencé to the Found team. She joins us as our third Creative Lead. Prior to joining us, she worked most recently at Wolff Olins and Arrival and before that was freelance for 9 years with a little stint here at Found in 2018 where she worked alongside Dan, Felix and Ryan. To use Laurence’s own words she is ‘very chuffed to be part of the Found crew’ and we are excited to welcome her and her talent to the team.
Christmas came early for Found this year, with our studio Christmas party last week. Moving from a proper roast to Tekken 7 and karaoke classics (nu metal to ABBA!). It was great to get the whole team together in person to reflect on our work this year and get into the festive spirit. We even had our international cohort, Kiril and Coco, join us from across the channel.

Our Creative Lead, Ryan, has been testing the effects of magnetism on physical objects and tethered camera dynamics.
Last week, the team set off to Hertfordshire for our mid-year away day. Alongside a well-deserved celebration of the year so far, the activities involved pottery, pigs and pints, all in the idyllic setting of Birch in Cheshunt.
Our workshop at OFFF Sevilla last month honed in on how to use photographic exploration as part of the creative process. These stunning photos are some of the results from our participants – using macro lenses to explore the finer details of textures and light.
Two new members have recently joined the Found team. Meet Kieran Gee-Finch, our new Senior Designer, and Karolis Arbaciauskas, our latest Design Intern. Kieran joins us from INK, with a background in Houdini-led motion design. Karolis joins us with experience at both Blue-Zoo and Harvard University.

Meet Rain and Drew!
Rain Osgood is the latest Producer to join the Found team, with a stellar background in immersive storytelling and experience with luxury brands. She’ll be leading the production process alongside Felix and Sophia. Drew Thompson is our new in-house Finance Manager, joining us from Nucco Brain, and taking over the reins from Emma, who is moving over to join our friends at Output. We’re excited to have both of them on board!
Our first intern has joined the team. Meet Kiril Trashliev, a recent graduate from Ravensbourne University with a killer background in CG animation and product design. Keep your eyes peeled for more of his work with Found in the future.
